Digital sculpture concept developed for a proposed outdoor public installation.

Public Art Sculpture Concept

Project Overview

This project involved creating a large-scale outdoor sculpture concept commissioned by an art museum in Arizona. The design centered around a sculptural interpretation of a chrome tilted paint can, intended to evoke motion, materiality, and creative process at an architectural scale.

The project was completed through the design and visualization phase before being cancelled prior to fabrication. The digital work shown here represents the finalized concept as delivered to the client.

Process & Development

The sculpture was designed with an emphasis on strong silhouette, clear form language, and visual impact when viewed in an outdoor public setting. Consideration was given to scale, viewing angles, and how the piece would read both from a distance and up close.

The digital model was developed to communicate overall form, proportions, and material presence. Geometry was kept clean and structurally coherent to support potential fabrication, while the visualization focused on conveying the intended weight, flow, and balance of the piece.
